T0042-P OSIRIS-REx Low-Gravity Regolith Sampling Tests

Program start date is on hold until Space Act Agreement is signed.  Placeholder date of January 2014 is used as placeholder.

The technology being tested is regolith fluidization and collection by gad injection.  This experiment will test 5 sampler head regolith comination/flight to determine sample collection in low gravity.  The data will be compared to ground test data.  In the future, this experiment will help on missions to sample asteroids e.g. OSIRIS-REx, and to sample comet nuclei.
