Project Description
The innovative TEST concept, akin to an umbrella, is a deployable structure with flexible TPS, which addressed the grand challenge of landing 40 mT payloads at Mars. TEST was shown to be a viable, mass competitive, and potentially less expensive to develop compared to other options such as inflatable.
