The primary goal is to provide direction of the Low Cost Lander proposal elements and control of the development space. It would evaluate the proposed technologies and their requirements / constraints, how they address the lander requirements, and how they fit with potential design concepts and overall cost. It would also bring together the functional experts for those areas not currently identified as needing funding for technology development. Each area would support and evaluate all other areas to ensure that information flow is unconstrained and transparent – all challenges are shared challenges.More »
