Project Description

Project Image Omni-Directional Imaging Spectrometer (ODIS)

Each spectrometer pixel is a static-energy-angle analyzer (SEAA) operating at approx. 10° incidence (figure shows 45° incidence performance) to achieve: Large energy ranges at fixed voltage settings: e.g. 30 volts (10-160 eV), 300 volts (160-2,600 eV), and 3,000 volts (2,600-41,000 eV). Field of view > 3°x10° and aperture > 10-2cm2 with energy resolution better than 10%. Keep SEAA size to within 3x3x10 cm3 and power low.
