This project will continue our engagement with manufactures and relevant organizations to obtain the material for testing and evaluation of the current state of practice for the Carbon Nanotube wire/cable development and where the obstacles to improved current carrying performance lie. We will also communicate GSFC needs and requirements to these organizations in an attempt to influence their research and development. Collaborators: Nanocomp, Tyco, and Minnesota Defense.
More »We aill also be looking at establishing a relationship with additional companies, These include Micro-Coax, Lockheed Martin Applied Nanosystems (LMANS), and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
