T0106-B Low-Cost Suborbital Reusable Launch Vehicle (sRLV) Surrogate

Program start date is on hold until Space Act Agreement is signed.  Placeholder date of January 2014 is used as placeholder.

This experiment aims to evaluate the effectiveness of FAA ATC CONOPS (vs. sterilizing airspace) for sRLVs as they transit the NAS prior to operational sub-orbital systems flights.  The flight will allow the FAA to evaluate ADS-B, ATC radars, comms and ATC procedures for sRLV flight safety and effectiveness.  The potential users of this experiment are the FAA and commerical spaceports.
