The Radio Frequency Mass Gauge (RFMG) team at GRC will build and test the RFMG at GRC before delivery to Intuitive Machines (IM) for integration into their Nova-C lunar lander for the IM-1 lunar mission. The tentative date for delivery is April 2021. The payload will launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9. After the flight, the team will also purchase flight data and conduct a thermal and fluid model development and validation activity.
